Churchill Celebrity Beat

Hey Folks, Dean here with the Churchill Celebrity beat. The Tundra Inn was the place to be in Churchill last Wednesday evening for open mic night. Many locals showed off their musical talents throughout the evening, but the highlight was definately Raine Maida, lead singer of Our Lady Peace, and his wife Chantel Kreviazuk (a well established musician herself) who both took to the stage to sing a few songs.

Also in attendance was talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos who has a program on CBC TV.

Im always amazed at how Canadian celebs are so humble, down to earth and approachable. George actually thanked us for taking a picture with him! Cool.
