The Polar Cinema was where it was happening last Saturday evening, Nov 6th when Hayley presented her 2nd of many Kayaking to Save the Albatross, South Georgia Expedition adventure story - A Beautiful Burden. Well, I suppose Martha Stewarts private function in the next room was also the place to be ;)
Approximately 65 people stepped out into the chilly Churchill air, making their way to the town complex to listen to Hayley speak. Expediton T shirts were sold, donations were made to support the continual education and conservation of the Albatross and people were informed and entertained by Hayley's stories and images.
A few testimonials were offered:
Hayley's passion as a steward of the Albatross is inspirational -Suzette Johnston, California
Her presentation opened my eyes and heart to the critical need for conservation -Shirley, California
Hayley's enthusiasm for the wonder of the Albatross is contagious. Hayley shares their wonder with true passion. - Jane Temperley, Canberra, Australia
An amazing woman who had a mission and a dream. It is an admirable feat when one can put these into action and make them a reality. Hayley is truly a woman of value. - Val and Steve, Mayland, USA
